What I provide

Services built around real organizational challenges.

No generic “transformation” language. The focus is practical: clearer decisions, stronger leaders, better use of AI, and projects that produce durable value.

Keynotes and conference sessions that connect current practice with emerging issues in AI, leadership, responsible project management, and the future of the profession.

eco

Sustainability

Guidance that helps project leaders connect scope, value, risk, stakeholder needs, and long-term environmental and social consequences.

Sustainability & responsible project management

Sustainability is not an add-on. It changes how projects define value.

Projects make choices that can outlive the project team by years or decades. Responsible project leadership means thinking beyond immediate deliverables to the wider system: users, communities, resources, climate, operations, and the consequences of success.

I have co-authored two books focused on sustainability and project management and have spoken internationally on the subject. That perspective is integrated into consulting and training rather than isolated in a separate “green” module.

Value over output
Look beyond “did we deliver?” to “what did the project change?”

Connect the project to second- and third-order effects.

Responsible tradeoffs
Make environmental, social, financial, and stakeholder consequences visible.

Long-term perspective
Design decisions for the life of the outcome, not just the life of the project.
Speaking

Global perspective, practical delivery.

My presentations are designed for project professionals, executives, educators, and associations that want more than a trend summary. The goal is to make emerging ideas useful: what changes Monday morning?

“The strongest project leaders are increasingly fluent in three languages: people, technology, and long-term value.”

About

Deep project experience, translated for today’s challenges.

Through EarthPM, I work at the intersection of project leadership, emerging technology, and responsible value creation. I bring decades of industry experience together with graduate education, publishing, consulting, and international speaking to help organizations turn ideas into practical decisions and stronger project leadership.

My work in sustainability includes co-authoring two books focused on sustainability and project management, while my more recent work explores how AI changes the role of project leaders. Across both areas, the common thread is human judgment: leadership, critical thinking, systems thinking, ethics, and the ability to understand a project in context.

How engagements work

Start with the problem, not the product.

A useful engagement starts by understanding what is actually changing, where the friction is, and what capability the organization needs next.

1

Clarify the challenge

What problem are you trying to solve? What is getting in the way?

2

Design the right intervention

Consulting, facilitation, workshop, keynote, or a blended approach.

3

Make it usable

Translate ideas into decisions, behaviors, tools, and next steps people can apply.

Let’s talk about what your organization is trying to accomplish.

Describe the audience, challenge, or event. I’ll use that context to determine what kind of consulting, training, or speaking engagement makes sense.

No obligation—just a first conversation.
